CHASSIS AND BODY DEPARTMENT
Introduction: Chassis and body department (CBD) was established in 1987, aims to undertake for teaching the vehicle dynamic in Vehicle Engineering program. In building and developing process, this department is more strength and development. To meet highly social requirement in Vehicle motion and dynamic, powertrain system as well as diagnostic and experimental. CBD department teaches the major knowledge and professional skills for student.
Staff: CBD department has 09 lecturers and 02 service staffs. Staffs in department include lecturers, senior lecturers with experts and high professional skills in automotive field (1 Doctors and 8 Masters). Furthermore, lecturers who always try to achieve the higher certification (3 PhD candidates), aim to get the effectively teaching and scientific research.

The department has special classrooms, modern laboratory and workshops with diagnostic equipment, models can meet student and lecturer's learning and study requirement:
- 01 Chassis and Body Laboratory
- 02 workshops: Chassis and body workshop and Body & Paint workshop.
- 01 Toyota Technical training center.

CBD department closely cooperate with industrial, company such as Toyota, Isuzu, Ford, Bosch, DuPont, Sikkens, PPG và RMT...universities and organization for short-term training, scientific research, study exchange, and research programs as well.
